How it works

Three steps, and the music reaches two audiences at once.

01Upload your tracks
Audio, artwork and metadata: genre, mood, language, ISRC. One track or a whole album.
02Pass moderation
We check quality and rights. If something is wrong we write what exactly, instead of rejecting in silence.
03Play on two channels
Once moderated, the track is available to listeners in the app, and curators add it to venue playlists. The same music, two audiences, royalties from both.

No small print — everything below is in the text you sign.

The rights stay yours
You grant plio a non-exclusive licence — this is not a transfer of rights. You can be anywhere else at the same time.
Two channels, one catalogue
The same track plays in the listener app and in the background of a café. Plays from both channels count into one payout pool.
Monthly royalties, pro rata
Your share of the payout pool follows your share of all paid plays. The formula is the same for everyone and is written into the agreement.
Paid within 14 working days
After the period closes, to the details in your cabinet (sole trader or private person). The minimum payout is USD 50; smaller amounts roll over.
Leave whenever you want
Withdraw the tracks from your cabinet and we take them out of circulation within 7 days. No penalties and no «let’s talk about it».
Transparent statistics
Your cabinet shows the daily play chart, your top tracks and how many plays ran to the end.

The questions people ask before uploading

«How much will I earn?»
The honest answer: it depends on the plays and on the size of the month’s pool. The pro-rata formula is written into the artist agreement — we do not promise a fixed rate per track, because under pro rata there is no such thing.
«Do I have to give you exclusivity?»
No. The licence is non-exclusive: you stay on every other service, and you can leave here and take your tracks within 7 days.
«What about taxes?»
You provide your tax details and pay your taxes on your side. The first payout needs a one-off identity check against a document, which is stored encrypted.
«Why might my track be rejected?»
Infringing someone else’s rights, hate speech, breaking Ukrainian law — or technical quality that cannot be played in a room. We try to always give the reason; ask support if it is missing.
